Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Spring 2027 Supply Chain Intern to gain hands-on experience in procurement, inventory control, and data analysis within a fast-paced, space-tech environment. You will support daily operations and learn through cross-functional collaboration on aerospace hardware projects.

The role is onsite, offers compensation, and targets students pursuing a degree in supply chain, logistics, or related fields. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS/MS/PhD program in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate in a team.
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities; good written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with indirect procurement activities to support business operations.
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize supply chain data; prepare reports and presentations for the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with indirect procurement activities to support the business operations
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records
• Collect, analyze, and summarize supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to the supply chain team.
• Track supply chain effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities
• Assist with inventory management by supporting the tracking, monitoring, and analysis of inventory
• Provide general administrative support to the supply chain team, including maintaining documentation, organizing files, and participating in meetings.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS), or PhD program in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a related field at an accredited university.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Great project management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is a plus.
