Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks a Survey Field Intern to support our survey crew in completing field assignments under the guidance of the Party Chief. You will gain hands-on training in field survey techniques, equipment operation, and data collection, building skills for a career in land surveying.

You will assist with field tasks, load and maintain equipment, and work outdoors across different terrains, adhering to safety procedures and delivering accurate data for projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited program in Surveying, Geospatial Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a coordinated team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and perform outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
• Reliability and dependability in attendance and performance.
