Job summary

Pape-Dawson Consulting Engineers, LLC is seeking a Survey Field Intern to support the survey crew under the direction of the Party Chief. This role offers hands-on training in field survey techniques, equipment operation, and data collection while developing skills for a career in land surveying.

You will assist with field tasks, load and maintain gear, set up instruments, follow safety procedures, and collect data in various outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited program in Surveying, Geospatial Sciences, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication, written and verbal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a coordinated team.
• Willingness to learn survey equipment operation.
• Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform outdoor tasks in all weather.
• Reliability and dependability in attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited program in Surveying, Geospatial Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a coordinated team.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn survey equipment operation.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and perform outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
