Qualifications

• Clearance: Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with >60% credits completed.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Experience with RESTful web services and databases (SQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Hybrid work: average 2 days/week onsite in San Antonio, TX; flexibility for schedule changes.

Will be provided support and guidance on a regular basis, but will be challenged and will need to learn quickly. The ideal candidate will enter their senior year or final semester of college after the summer 2027 internship. Work will be performed in a hybrid environment with some on-site work with our talented team.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Code back-end services or front-end interfaces.
• Support development of modern and responsive UI for the web.
• Iterating rapidly with our development team.
• Integration across technologies and applications, application development, user interface development, and system testing.
• Experience with Next-Gen Coding Agents: Practical history of integrating advanced AI agents, specifically Claude Code or Google's Antigravity / Gemini agentic workflows, into your daily software engineering routine.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Clearance Requirement - Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be working towards a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e. Computer Science), with more than 60% of the required credits completed.
• Must have programming experience with some of the following tools/technologies: Java, Kotlin, Python, Modern JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. Angular, Vue.js, React), JavaScript, Node, and/or CSS.
• Knowledge of databases, query processing, and SQL.
• Must have a strong working knowledge and experience in RESTful web services.
• Must have an inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent attention to detail.
• Must also possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience developing software using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven).
• Understanding of software design, best practices, and standards.
• Understanding of the agile software lifecycle.
• Has the ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 2 days per week at our San Antonio, TX office. However, flexibility is essential to accommodate any changes in the schedule.

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with the Linux operating system.
• A current security clearance is a plus.
