Job summary

Ally Financial invites students to join its Internship Program in Detroit. You will work with the Business Systems Management team, applying SQL, Power BI, and Python to real projects, while being mentored by leaders across the company.

The role blends hands-on development work with learning experiences and networking opportunities. You will gain exposure to consumer systems, data reporting, and configuration solutions, with a pathway to potential return offers in the Ally ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Program Eligibility: Must be graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.
• Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with Consumer Systems, Commercial Advantage and CAPSO projects.
• Attend Orientation and Executive Speaking Series, and participate in mentoring sessions.
• Participate in mentoring program and Giving Back events, and network with peers.
• Lead an end-of-assignment presentation.
• Support project management activities, requirements gathering, testing, and configuring solutions.
