Job summary

Ally Financial invites highly motivated students to join a paid 11-week internship in Consumer Banking. You will work on project-based tasks and gain hands-on experience within the Invest – Advisory organization.

The program offers mentoring, networking with leadership, and opportunities to return to Ally in future roles. Expect a mix of in-office and remote days, with a market-competitive hourly compensation and a signing bonus for eligible interns.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior in a full-time undergraduate program.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Available for full duration of the internship.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• A passion for the financial services and technology industry is strongly preferred.
• Previous internship experience or relevant project work is preferred.
• Extracurricular activities and leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Advisory team and key partners to advance the growth strategy.
• Develop tactical and strategic related analyses to support day-to-day initiatives.
• Gain insights that inform the business SWOT with leadership input.
• Engage with advisory leadership on strategy and tactics to improve outcomes.
• Present data and analyses to multiple levels across the organization.
