Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) invites ambitious students to join its DCIM Software Engineering Intern program in Suwanee, GA. Interns will experience the data center industry's lifecycle, participate in PLC-related tasks, and gain exposure to automation tools used across the company.

Two scopes exist: PLC software design collaboration and project analyst duties, reporting to a PM, tracking deliverables and researching topics as needed. Prior PLC exposure is required.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Must have PLC exposure/experience in a classroom or internship setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

QTS' summer internship program will provide you first hand experience into the fast paced world of the data center industry by providing weekly lunch and learns, a comprehensive orientation program, and site based activities, socials and volunteering events. Every intern will be assigned initiatives tied to real QTS objectives helping with anything pertaining to the whole life-cycle of a data center build and/or company operations.

The DCIM Software Engineering intern has two potential scopes of responsibility. On the PLC software design side, the individual will gain valuable exposure to collaborating with a team working on automation solution based tools to be leveraged across the organization. For those more interested in the Project Management side, you'd act as a Project Analyst, reporting to a PM, tracking deliverables, organizing data, and performing research around topics as necessary. To be considered, applicants MUST HAVE prior PLC exposure/experience in a classroom or internship setting.

Technology Intern:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be a US Citizen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST HAVE prior PLC exposure/experience in a classroom or internship setting.

• Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries.

• Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, etc.

• Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment).

• Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a Blackstone Launchpad (https://www.blackstone.com/our-impact/blackstone-launchpad/) affiliate school:
