Work Schedule:

Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. The Work Itself

As part of our Internship Program, you will have an opportunity to:

• Have hands on experience and project-based work
• Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an Intern cohort
• Participate in Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events
• Network with your peers, your team, and those Allys you find interesting
• Lead an end of assignment presentation

The Details

• Internship Program Timing: May 21 – July 31, 2027 (tentative)
• 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days
• Project-based work
• Market competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify
• Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing.

Consumer Banking

Consumer Banking is all about the customer. As a summer intern within the Invest - Advisory organization at Ally, you will play a key role in one of the bank’s core values: building trust with our customers.

Intern Key Experiences

• Engage with all levels of the Advisory team, key partners from Product and other areas – established and emerging – to advance the execution of the Advisory growth strategy.
• Help develop tactical and strategic related analysis to support day-to-day implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Gain insights that inform the business SWOT, leveraging experience of the leadership team, key partners and data.
• Engage with advisory leadership on strategy and tactics to improve outcomes. Partner with Product, analytics and other partners key to the success of the business. Present data and analysis to multiple levels across the organization.

Required Qualifications.

• Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Available for the full duration of the internship program.
• Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
• A passion for the financial services and technology industry is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Previous internship experience or relevant project work is preferred.
• Extracurricular activities/leadership experience is preferred (student organizations, volunteering, sports, part-time roles, etc.).
• Technical finance/market experience. Some AI and Excel preferred.

Base Pay Range

$25.00 - $33.00

Incentive Compensation
