Job summary

Midwest Pool Management, a Kansas City area pool services provider, is seeking part-time seasonal Front Desk and Concession Attendants for the May–September period. You will greet guests, handle transactions, and support daily operations across facilities in the metro area.

Ideal candidates are 16+ (or 18+ preferred), reliable, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Admit pool patrons quickly and accurately
• Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate totals and provide accurate change
• Handle cash, credit, and check transactions accurately and responsibly
• Redeem coupons and process payments correctly
• Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
• Greet guests as they enter and exit the facility
• Answer guest questions and escalate concerns to management when necessary
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and provide relevant information
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
• Keep accurate records and reports of transactions
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Midwest Pool Management is hiring Front Desk and Concession Attendants for the upcoming summer season at facilities throughout the Kansas City area.

Front Desk and Concession Attendants play a key role in creating a welcoming first impression for guests, supporting daily front desk operations, and providing excellent customer service to guests. This position is ideal for individuals who are organized, friendly, and comfortable handling transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Employment Type: Part-time, Seasonal (May-September)
• Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour

Qualifications

• 18 years of age preferred, but not required
• Must be at least 16 years of age by the start of employment
• Customer service experience in retail, food service, or hospitality preferred

Concessions Responsibilities

• Sell items quickly and accurately
• Complete daily inventory forms accurately
• Produce and serve hot menu items safely and consistently
• Provide excellent customer service and escalates complaints to a supervisor as needed
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the concession area
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform while on duty
• Know your schedule and arrive to work on time and prepared
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Certifications & Training

• Training is provided and must be successfully completed prior to working
