Job summary

Midwest Pool Management in the Kansas City area is hiring Front Desk Attendants for the upcoming summer season. Front Desk Attendants play a key role in creating a welcoming first impression for guests, supporting daily front desk operations, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This position is part-time and seasonal (May–September) with shifts mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age preferred, but not required.
• Customer service experience in retail, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Dependable, positive, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to accept guidance and supervision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Availability May through September, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Admit pool patrons quickly and accurately.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate totals and provide accurate change.
• Ability to handle cash, credit, and check transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Redeem coupons and process payments correctly.
• Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Greet guests as they enter and exit the facility.
• Answer guest questions and elevate concerns to management when necessary.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and provide relevant information.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Keep accurate records and reports of transactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
