Job summary

ATI is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern in Finance (FP&A) to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Located at Natrona Heights Operations, near Pittsburgh, the intern will help organize data, maintain models, and prepare management summaries for decision-makers.

The role collaborates with Finance and Accounting teams and may interact with Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to meet financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and updates to financial plans.
• Prepare or support recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and KPI reporting.
• Perform variance analysis comparing actuals to budget/forecast.
• Update financial models, templates, and dashboards used to monitor performance.
• Collect, reconcile, validate, and organize financial data to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, headcount, capex, and margins as assigned.
• Help prepare charts and concise written explanations for finance leaders.
