Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Intern to support governance, compliance, and strategic planning initiatives within enterprise risk management. This internship provides hands-on exposure to how organizations identify, assess, monitor, and manage risks while advancing strategic business objectives in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise risk reporting and documentation practices.
• Research emerging risks and industry trends relevant to ERM.
• Assist with risk assessments and taxonomy development.
• Prepare presentations and executive-facing materials for risk governance.
• Participate in strategic projects across Enterprise Risk & Governance.
• Contribute to data maintenance and reporting tools used in risk management.
• Engage in mentorship and project-based learning to develop analytical and business skills.
