Highmark Health invites applications for the Summer 2027 Strategic Planning Internship to develop the next generation of business leaders by providing exposure to corporate strategy, growth initiatives, and enterprise transformation within a healthcare setting.

As an intern, you will contribute to strategic planning, research, and projects across multiple lines, including post-acquisition integration and growth execution, while developing analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues, clientele, and other stakeholders in planning assignments.
Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services to day-to-day operating objectives.
Participate in projects and programs to develop professional skills and expertise.
Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations for action.
Support mergers and acquisitions implementation efforts and strategic plans.
