Highmark Health in Pittsburgh is seeking an undergraduate intern for the Summer 2027 Risk & Compliance Management program. The internship offers hands-on exposure to enterprise risk and regulatory compliance within a large healthcare organization.

You will work with risk professionals, business partners, technology teams, and global delivery groups to support risk and compliance activities across the organization, including guidance on NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI, SOC, CMS, and Joint Commission

Qualifikationen

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or another program within an accredited school of business.

Aufgaben

• Communicate effectively while interacting with colleagues, clientele, and other stakeholders in planning assignments and resolving day-to-day issues.
• Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services as appropriate to day-to-day objectives with guidance and mentoring from senior personnel.
• Undertake and/or participate in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise for the organization.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise and ability.
• Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the operating unit objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
