Job summary

Ulteig in the United States is seeking a Summer Electrical Engineering Intern on the Renewables team for 2027. You will support electrical engineering projects, perform calculations, prepare drawings, and contribute to design studies. Gain hands‑on experience with CAD, EasyPower, ETAP and PSS/E to assist with system design and analysis, plus collaboration with project teams and clients.

You must be pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least two years of coursework and have U.S.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least two years of coursework completed.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support electrical engineers and technicians on renewable energy projects.
  • Assist with electrical engineering calculations, drawings, design studies, and technical documentation.
  • Learn and utilize CAD, EasyPower, ETAP, and PSS/E to support electrical system design and analysis.
  • Compile and analyze technical data to support evaluations and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project teams and internal resources to support client needs.
  • Gain exposure to client interaction and, where appropriate, marketing and business development activities.

Job description

The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineering Interns to join our Renewables team for the 2027 summer season. This internship provides hands‑on experience supporting electrical engineering projects while working alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals. The intern will assist with engineering calculations, drawings, design studies, and other project deliverables supporting renewable energy projects.

What You'll Do
  • Support electrical engineers and engineering technicians on renewable energy projects
  • Assist with electrical engineering calculations, drawings, design studies, and technical documentation
  • Learn and utilize engineering software such as CAD, EasyPower, ETAP, and PSS®E to support electrical system design and analysis
  • Compile and analyze technical data to support engineering evaluations and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with project teams and other internal resources to support client needs
  • Gain exposure to client interaction and, where appropriate, marketing, sales, and business development activities

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $28-$30/hr. *
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
