Job summary

Ulteig in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns for the 2027 summer season to work on our Renewables projects. You will gain hands-on experience supporting calculations, drawings, design studies, and project deliverables alongside experienced engineers.

You will use CAD, EasyPower, ETAP, and PSSE, contribute to client-ready documentation, and collaborate with project teams. This internship offers mentorship, competitive pay, and potential to extend through the school year

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least two years of coursework completed.
• Strong interest or coursework in electrical power systems is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and pay close attention to details.

The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineering Interns to join our Renewables team for the 2027 summer season. This internship provides hands‑on experience supporting electrical engineering projects while working alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals. The intern will assist with engineering calculations, drawings, design studies, and other project deliverables supporting renewable energy projects.

What You'll Do

• Support electrical engineers and engineering technicians on renewable energy projects
• Assist with electrical engineering calculations, drawings, design studies, and technical documentation
• Learn and utilize engineering software such as CAD, EasyPower, ETAP, and PSSE to support electrical system design and analysis
• Compile and analyze technical data to support engineering evaluations and project deliverables
• Collaborate with project teams and other internal resources to support client needs
• Gain exposure to client interaction and, where appropriate, marketing, sales, and business development activities

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $28-$30/hr. *
