Job summary

Pacific Life Insurance invites you to join our Summer 2027 Actuarial Internship in Charlotte, NC. You will work on diverse actuarial projects, gain real-world experience, and be paired with executive mentors while contributing to company goals.

You should be pursuing an undergrad in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science and aim to graduate between December 2027 and May/June 2028. Exam progress determines the on-the-job pay and opportunities.

Qualifications

Completion of at least 1 Society of Actuaries exam is required.
Pursuing an undergraduate degree majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
Ability to problem solve and demonstrate leadership.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Desire to gain more experience in the actuarial field.

Responsibilities

Create dashboards to visualize data and support actuarial analyses.
Contribute to Rider Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis and tooling for efficiency.
Participate in actuarial projects and internship program activities.
Engage in rotational events to learn about Modeling, Risk Management, Product Design, Pricing, Valuation and Reinsurance.
Network with peers and executives through social events and mentorship.
