Job summary

At Sentry, the Accounting internship provides hands-on experience with a dedicated mentor and exposure to leadership. The program emphasizes networking through team social events and connections across the organization.

You will work on multiple finance teams, prepare financial exhibits, reconcile statements, and assist with automation while learning internal processes. A hybrid work setup and involvement with leadership are key parts of the experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field.
• Planned graduation date between May 2028 and December 2029.
• Obtain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Learn about multiple Finance teams via direct project work with different areas.
• Prepare a variety of financial statement exhibits and reporting disclosures.
• Review and reconcile financial statements to general ledger data and appropriate data sources.
• Assist with automation of financial statements and reports.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of financial transaction processing in accordance with accounting principles and reporting requirements; troubleshoot data reconciliation issues.
• Assist with support, maintenance, and enhancement of accounting processes and systems.
