Job summary

Sensiba LLP invites you to join our Outsourced Accounting Intern program for Summer 2027. You’ll work across client accounts, gaining hands-on experience in the full accounting lifecycle from processing to close and reporting.

The eight-week internship includes an on-site week at San Jose HQ, professional development, and networking with peers and firm leaders, shaping a strong foundation for your career in accounting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
• Expected degree completion between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Exposure to QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Xero preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn cloud-based accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Professionalism and confidentiality when handling client information.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Support invoice management, payment tracking, and transaction coding.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review financial transactions for completeness, accuracy, and proper classification.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of client financial statements and management reports.
• Help identify, research, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Assist with variance analysis and financial trend reporting.
