Job summary

Lansing - W Saginaw Hwy seeks an Accounting Intern to join our Business Management Training program in Charlotte, NC. This full-time internship (40 hours/week) spans 10–12 weeks and introduces you to basic accounting, AP/AR, and financial analysis.

You’ll work with rental branches and departments, assist with reports, and gain hands-on experience in applying accounting concepts. Start date May 17, 2027; compensation is $15.00/hour; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full time in a college/university degree in Accounting or Finance with a graduation date between Aug 2027 and May 2028.
• Must be willing to work in-person, 40-hour work week at the Charlotte, NC office.
• 10-12 week commitment with start date May 17, 2027.
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed.

This is a full time internship (40hr/week) for 10-12 weeks with a companstion of $15.00/hr. Candidates much be available to start May 17, 2027.

Responsibilities

Starting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed

• Must be willing to work an in-person, 40-hour work week at our administrative office in Charlotte, NC 28262
• 10-12 commitment with availability starting the 1st day of training on May 17, 2027
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be flexible to relocate outside local area/state within a 1-3 year period to accept potential promotional opportunities
