Job summary

Lansing - W Saginaw Hwy is seeking an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on exposure to basic accounting procedures, financial statement prep, and analysis. This 40-hour/week internship runs for 10–12 weeks at the Charlotte, NC office.

Responsibilities include supporting A/P & A/R, creating reports, and assisting with schedules while performing general administrative duties. Eligible candidates must be enrolled full-time in Accounting/Finance and be US work-authorized.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full time for the upcoming semester in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting or Finance with a graduation date between August 2027 and May 2028.
• Must be willing to work an in-person, 40-hour work week at our administrative office in Charlotte, NC 28262.
• 10-12 week internship with compensation of $15.00/hr.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and related tasks.
• Involved with accounts payable (A/P) & accounts receivable (A/R) functions including cash receipts and petty cash.
• Assist in accounting schedules and filing.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be flexible to relocate outside local area/state within a 1-3 year period to accept potential promotional opportunities
• Must have authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
