The University of South Carolina Upstate invites applications for the Summer 2026 Student Orientation Internship. This part-time on-campus role supports new students with tours, information sessions, and scheduling for the fall term.

Responsibilities

• Students will provide tours and information sessions for new students planning to attend Upstate.
• Orientation staff may be required to stay on campus for one overnight event.
• Staff will stay in the Palmetto House or Magnolia House with new students and provide programming.
• Interact in a positive manner with prospective students, parents, faculty, and staff.
• Help prospective students understand opportunities at Upstate and assist with scheduling classes for the fall semester.
• Assist with phones and student service in Enrollment Services offices.
• Develop Communication skills through presentations. Learn leadership skills by managing student groups and working with other staff.
