Job summary

Legends is seeking a committed team member to serve food and beverages during events at The Dow Event Center and Huntington Event Park. You will interact with guests, maintain professional appearance, and follow safety and alcohol service policies.

This role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and delivering a memorable guest experience while upholding health codes and cash handling accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
• Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary.
• Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
• Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all times
• Ensure health codes are followed
• Prepares food and beverage for customer
• Follow all rules and regulations for serving alcohol.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be able to balance serving trays and have good manual dexterity. Required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position requires work inside and outside the building, parking lots included and some exposure to adverse conditions. Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination. All Food & Beverage scheduling is dependent on The Dow Event Center and Huntington Event Park events calendar.
