Job summary

Levy Restaurants, located in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Suite Supervisor to manage successful operations of suites during events at the Enterprise Center. This role oversees setup, guest seating, staffing, and service quality, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.

You will coordinate with directors, supervise staff, and handle guest issues while reporting to managers. Knowledge of menu offerings and upselling techniques is essential for guest satisfaction and revenue.

Qualifications

• Stand for long periods and actively engage physically with guests.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.

Responsibilities

• Meets with the directors before the event to go over details.
• Supervisors staff during check-ins and breakdowns.
• Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
• Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
• Supervises the runners and servers before, during and after the event.
• Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
• Determine where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated.
• Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
• Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
• Create, modify and close sales checks in point of sale.
• Understands all event paperwork and reports.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Interact with ownership groups to ensure that their needs are met routinely.
• Maintains service areas.
• Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
• Follows responsible alcohol services policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Suite Supervisor is responsible for managing the successful operations of suites during the event. The supervisor helps facilitate executing area setup and breakdown. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded. Once an event is near, the supervisor checks the provisions and stocking orders to ensure that all is ready for guests. The supervisor manages the runners and the servers, to again, ensure effective processes are in place. The supervisor handles guest issues and then report them up to managers.
