Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is expanding into the Dallas area and seeks a friendly food service associate to deliver orders from kitchen to suites, coordinating with front and back of house staff to ensure accuracy.

In this entry-level role, you will assist with table setup, handle allergies and special requests, and maintain safety standards while supporting pre- and post-event setup and breakdown.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food expo or entry-level restaurant role.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ suites rapidly and accurately.
• Act as the contact point between Front of House and Back of House staff.
• Communicate food orders to chefs, noting priorities and allergies.
• Assist the wait staff with table setting and clearing as needed.
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
• Check in with customers and take additional orders or refills.
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
• Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Handle pre- and post-event setup/breakdown responsibilities.
• Ensure security of company assets.
