Job summary

Legends Global is seeking staff to join our arena operations team in Omaha, Nebraska. The role focuses on pre-event suite setup, including chafing dishes, plates, silverware, televisions, lighting, and overall ambiance to ensure a premium guest experience.

You will verify and set up all event orders for suites and identify the suite host to greet guests professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in foodservice.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Able to pass a credit check.

Responsibilities

• Set up and verify pre-event suite setup, including dishes, plates, glassware, televisions, lighting and ambiance.
• Take and deliver game day food and beverage orders to the suite.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of suite and catering areas during events.
• Obtain signatures for charges in a timely manner and complete post-event cleanup.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite.-Verify and set-up all event orders for Suites-Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself-Take game day food and beverage orders and deliver to suite-Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event-Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils for suite and catering as needed-Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite and catering areas throughout During Event -Obtain signatures from the suite host on charges in a timely manner -Clear all items from the suite and catering areas and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes-Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions-Check out with supervisor or managerQualifications-Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty-Must follow all SAVOR… Omaha policies and procedures-Must be present for all major events at the ArenaEducation and/or Experience-Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position required-Previous supervisory experience preferred-Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit checkKnowledge, Skills and Abilities-Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards-Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training-Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues-Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff, plan ahead and to prepare event plans simultaneously-Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Demands-Frequent walking for entire length of shift-Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions-Frequent lift, push or pull items and objects weighing up to 50 lbsWorking Conditions-Moderate to extreme exposure to noise during events-May be exposed to vibrations caused by extreme noise during events-May be exposed to strobe lights/lasers during events-May be exposed to chemicals when cleaning locationsHours of Work-Availability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
