Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC seeks an Underground Utility Locator to join our Utility Coordination Team in Murfreesboro, TN. The right candidate will have 5+ years of experience locating underground utilities using various methods.

Location: Murfreesboro, TN. Compensation: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour. This role offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities to cross-train within the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in utility locating.
• Ability to read and interpret utility maps/prints.
• Familiar with 811 and related utility contacts.
• Willing to be cross trained as part of the survey field team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Requires background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Locate, identify, and map utilities (underground and overhead).
• Operate detection equipment to locate and mark underground facilities.
• Perform QA/QC checks.
• Coordinate with survey field crews and office staff.
• Travel as needed; some night work may be required.
