Job summary

Sherwood Surveying & S.U.E., LLC in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineer (SUE) Technician to designate buried utilities and interpret subsurface data in the field and during post-processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• Ability to work outside in all seasons for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel overnight across Texas.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all colleagues.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely designate buried utilities and interpret subsurface information.
• Perform field observations and report findings.
• Operate and maintain surveying and SUE equipment.
• Travel for field assignments and post-processing of data.
• Collaborate across Surveying and SUE duties.
