WithersRavenel is recruiting an SUE Technician II to join the Geomatics Practice Area!
An SUE Technician II (Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician) is responsible for gathering, interpreting, and documenting information related to underground utilities. The SUE Technician II will assist the SUE Party Chief with performing fieldwork to identify, mark, and document the location of underground utilities using equipment such as Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radars (GPR). The technician will work closely with other team members, including engineers and surveyors, to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Sub-Surface Utility Engineering (SUE) and utility locating.

Requirements
Working Conditions
Fieldwork in various settings, including urban, suburban, and rural areas. Exposure to weather conditions, traffic, and construction sites. Flexibility to travel and stay overnight for certain out-of-town work.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, walk long distances, and lift equipment as needed. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods. Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
