Since 1993, T2 Utility Engineers has provided professional Subsurface Utility Engineering and surveying services, supporting infrastructure projects of all sizes. Our team employs advanced technology to deliver quality data and insights that help clients visualize, plan, and design their projects. Our mission is to provide stakeholders with quality information and professional insights that streamline construction, enhance safety, and set industry standards.

SUE Technician III Responsibilities:

1. Mastery in operating SUE utility locating and designating equipment in complex utility environments to accurately map utilities within the project area.
2. Complete detailed, accurate daily reports, forms, and field sketches, both electronically and by hand.
3. Supervise daily SUE field crew activities and train team members.
4. Represent T2ue during field activities, communicating with clients, subcontractors, and third parties.
5. Maintain, clean, and operate vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies effectively.
6. Facilitate daily tailgate safety meetings.
7. Perform daily Job Hazard Analysis with crew members.
8. Drive commercial motor vehicles; a CDL license is not required.
9. Set up safety measures for traffic control, including signage.
10. Complete monthly equipment inventory for supervisor reordering.

Qualifications for Tech III:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2+ years experience as a SUE Field Technician II
• Ability to interpret utility prints and design plans
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a good record
• Ability to secure client-required IDs, such as TWIC and SWAC
• Pass pre-employment physical and obtain DOT medical card if needed
• Lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks with heavy tools and equipment
• Work outdoors in all climates
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays
• OSHA safety certifications are a plus
