Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years locating utilities, 1+ year leading a crew, experience with Vacuum Excavation, Total Stations and GPS, and a willingness to travel up to 25% for out-of-town work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years locating underground utilities using SUE equipment (GPR and EM).
• 1+ year leading an SUE crew.
• Experience with Vacuum Excavation.
• Experience using Total Stations and GPS equipment.
• Strong client-focused relationship skills including communication and organization.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 25% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Lead SUE crew to perform Sub-Surface Utility Engineering services for internal and external clients.
• Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate.
• Operate equipment safely and ensure crew follows protocols while operating equipment.
• Maintain overall quality of work to meet regulatory requirements.
• Accurately collect field data and locate features.
• Manage time effectively and juggle multiple projects to meet deadlines.
