Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with SUE and/or private utility locating.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and field conditions.
• Physical demands include extensive walking and bending; able to open manhole covers and structures of varying weights.
• Able to read directional maps, topographic maps and utility prints.
• Willingness to travel and work out-of-town as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex utility records and prints.
• Travel to assigned work site and perform utility designation (identifying and marking underground facilities).
• Use electromagnetic locating equipment and follow AMT's process for accurate locates.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety practices.
• Contact Senior SUE Tech for assistance as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
