Job summary

AECOM is seeking a SUE Technician to support projects across the Eastern region. You will utilize geophysical equipment to identify and locate utilities, following ASCE 38-02/38-22 guidelines and assisting with vacuum excavation tasks.

The role requires frequent fieldwork, travel, and physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in various conditions. A BS/AS/HS credential with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 2+ yrs, AS degree with 4+ yrs, or HS diploma with 6+ yrs.
• SUE, private locating and/or surveying experience.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license; background checks required.
• Frequent travel to field sites; overnight stays possible.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; outdoor work in varied weather.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, designate and locate utilities per ASCE 38-02/38-22 using geophysical techniques.
• Troubleshoot procedures and learn new methods and technologies.
