Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is a nationwide geospatial and construction-phase solutions leader with 50+ offices and 1,600 professionals. You will assist in identifying utilities and control points, operate survey equipment, and support field data collection across projects.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and ability to pass background/drug screening.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk extended distances with surveying equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying marked utilities, structures and control points on plans/maps and in the field.
• Perform operator level maintenance on assigned company tools and equipment.
• Assist in implementing approved traffic control plans.
• Develop skills towards certification for advancement.
• Record data accurately in the field using required equipment.
• Operate vacuum truck and related tools; use hand tools.
• Drive commercial motor vehicles.
• Contribute to other tasks as assigned.
