Job summary

CES Group Engineers, LLP in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced SUE Analyst to join our civil engineering team. Responsibilities include supervising field crews, ensuring quality and safety, operating geophysical equipment, and delivering data to CAD technicians while meeting schedules.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of SUE experience, read construction plans, hold a valid driver's license, and pass a background check. We offer competitive compensation and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of SUE experience with proficiency in current SUE/Geomatics equipment.
• Experience with Heath, Radio Detection, Vivax equipment, GPRs, and Vacuum Excavation.
• Ability to read construction plans/blueprints.
• Detail-oriented team player with strong communication.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Advance understanding of subsurface utility engineering.
• Supervise and oversight of the field crew.
• Ensure quality and safe work, with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Meet schedules and deadlines and coordinate with Project Manager.
• Operate geophysical equipment to collect field data and deliver information to CAD techs.
• Organize tasks and manage budget and schedule constraints.
• Lead a small crew or work independently under safety procedures.
• Travel to project sites and work in varying terrains and weather.
