Job summary

Volunteers of America Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to help launch our Integrated Behavioral Health Clinic (IBHC). This role blends substance use treatment with behavioral health, care coordination, and peer support in a collaborative setting.

The SUDP will work on assessing, planning, and delivering counseling services, coordinating care with teams and community partners, and ensuring documentation and compliance in a growing

Qualifications

• Current Washington State SUDP certification in good standing.
• Associate degree in behavioral health, psychology, social work, counseling, human services, or related field.
• Eligibility to provide Medicaid-reimbursable substance use disorder treatment services.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct substance use disorder assessments and establish diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
• Support recovery planning, treatment engagement, and relapse prevention.
• Coordinate care with internal teams, healthcare providers, and community partners.
• Connect participants with resources and services that support long-term recovery and stability.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and quality improvement efforts.
