As part of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings, including medical, legal, and customer service. LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for diverse assignments.

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining confidentiality.
2. Follow all policies, procedures, and interpretation protocols, including industry best practices.
3. Complete training and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Full fluency in English and Sudanese Arabic.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality.
• Ability to provide high-quality client service.
• Access to personal or public transportation.
• At least 2 years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred.
