Job summary

Catholic Community Services of Western Washington is hiring a SUD Professional Trainee to support recovery efforts, facilitate Intensive Outpatient groups, and work with treatment teams. The role includes case management, assessments, file maintenance, and documenting progress with the client base.

The position requires SUD trainee certification or active coursework toward certification, strong computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team in a busy outpatient

Qualifications

• Active SUD Professional Trainee Certification with WA State DOH.
• Involvement in study leading to SUDP Certification or completed coursework.
• Direct clinically based service experience in social services or related field.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations.
• Schedule and conduct individual counselor sessions as needed.
• Conduct group counseling sessions according to agency manuals and patient needs.
• Counsel families, couples and significant others related to patients.
• Follow professional and ethical standards in practice.
• Prepare and update individual treatment plans as needed.
• Refer patients to agency or community services when appropriate.
• Maintain daily client contact hours and group rosters with signatures.
