Job summary

CCS NW Recovery Centers is seeking a SUD Professional Trainee to support clients in recovery, facilitating Intensive Outpatient groups and assisting with case management and assessments. The role involves documentation, treatment planning, and collaboration with the treatment team.

Evening hours may be required, and compensation is aligned with the collective bargaining agreement. A strong commitment to privacy and compliance is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Active Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee Certification with WA State DOH.
• Coursework leading to Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification or completed coursework.
• Direct clinically based service experience in social services or related field.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations.
• Schedule and conduct individual counseling sessions.
• Lead group counseling sessions per manuals and patient needs.
• Counsel families, couples and significant others.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards.
• Document and update treatment plans and progress notes.
• Coordinate and report service delivery to referring agencies.
• Obtain and maintain insurance authorization for services.
• Provide client, family and community education.
• Meet all work schedules and patient appointments.
