Job summary

Riverwood Center in Southwest Michigan is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide individual and group therapy at multiple sites across Berrien County for adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 2+ years of relevant experience, strong computer and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health discipline is required.
• Two or more years of experience providing treatment to individuals with substance use or co-occurring disorders.
• Excellent computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, ability to organize and manage several tasks simultaneously, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group substance use and co-occurring therapy to consumers and their families per evidence-based standards and guidelines.
• Prepares comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, crisis intervention and pre-screens as needed.

We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities:

Provides individual and group substance use and co-occurring therapy to consumers and their families in a manner that is consistent with evidence-based treatment standards and best practice
guidelines. Prepares comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, crisis intervention and pre-screens as needed.
