Job summary

The Ark of DC is seeking a SUD Recovery Support Manager to develop care plans, track patient progress, and implement clinical guidelines. This role collaborates with the DC Department of Behavioral Health and other partners to ensure program policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include providing recovery education, supporting staff, maintaining high-quality documentation, and engaging consumers and families to support long-term recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Human Services is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, engagement, organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and data/documentation proficiency.
• Experience with crisis management and trauma-informed care.
• Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care plan development and documentation for individual patients.
• Maintain and monitor patient records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with DC Department of Behavioral Health and other stakeholders.
• Provide recovery support and education to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Help with outreach to community partners and linkage to resources.
• Assist in training Peer Recovery Support Specialists.
