Job summary

Steadfast Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to practice at the top of their license in an outpatient SUD program in Greensboro, NC. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and peers to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care in a supportive setting with MA backup and CME mentorship.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, Motivational Interviewing, and ongoing professional development within a mission-driven team focused on low-barrier, harm-reduction SUD

Qualifications

• NP (FNP/AGNP/PMHNP) or PA-C with 2+ years of provider experience.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment, outpatient preferred.
• Ability to manage a full patient panel independently.
• Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, meds and treatment modalities.
• Collaborates with a diverse care team and engages in continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage SUDs and comorbidities with patient-first care.
• Collaborate with clinicians to formulate and execute care plans.
• Provide patient-centered advocacy using Motivational Interviewing.
• Utilize up-to-date SUD therapies under expert supervision.
• Support access to care for disadvantaged populations.
• Foster trust and strong patient relationships in a warm clinic.
• Remain adaptable to diverse patient needs and scheduling.
