Job summary

Groups is a leading outpatient provider offering SUD treatment, blending medication, therapy, and support both online and in person. The Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse (1099) position supports intake, patient monitoring, and prescribing within a structured clinical workflow.

Requires active NP/APRN license, DEA, bilingual skills, and minimum 1 year buprenorphine prescribing experience.45 The role offers flexible weekday hours (5–10 hrs/week) with in-office presence and credentialing

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered NP/APRN license in the applying state.
• Active, individual DEA with address listed in the applying state.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• DEAX designation or proof of 8hrs SAMHSA training required.
• 1 yr minimum actively prescribing buprenorphine.
• Proof of active Board Certification.
• Ability to work in-office at least 5hrs per week.
• Eligibility for hours will commence ~3 months after credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting intakes.
• Monitor patients' clinical progress at group counseling sessions.
• Authorize prescriptions during monthly visits with patient panels.
• Complete notes and reporting in Groups EMR system within required timeline.
• Follow clinical protocols within a technology-driven, team-based system.
