Job summary

Alumni Ventures is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Advance Practice Nurse for a remote role. You will assist in patient intakes and monitor clinical progress while working with specialized counseling staff.

The position requires an active NP/APRN license and at least one year of experience in prescribing Buprenorphine. Responsibilities also include authorizing prescriptions and maintaining accurate records in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Active, Unencumbered State License (NP/APRN) in the State in which you are applying.
• Active, Individual DEA with address listed in the State in which you are applying.
• DEAX designation or proof of 8 hours of qualified training as assigned by SAMHSA required.
• 1 year Minimum Actively Prescribing Buprenorphine.
• Proof of Active Board Certification.
• Ability to work in-office at least 5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting intakes after evaluation by counselor.
• Monitor patients' clinical progress at group counseling sessions.
• Authorize patients' prescriptions during monthly visits.
• Complete all necessary notes in Groups EMR system.
