Job summary

Turning Point of Central California, Inc. is seeking a SUD Counselor Supervisor for the Kennemer MCRP to provide clinical oversight and supervision for counseling staff, ensuring evidence-based, resident-centered treatment.

The role may include direct services such as assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention as needed. The position requires strong coordination with CDCR partners, documentation in ARMS and other systems, and maintaining compliance with state and contractual

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certificate or MSW with supervision experience required.
• AOD Counselor certification by an accredited organization required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support SUD counseling staff to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Monitor documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and resident outcomes.
• Provide direct SUD services as needed (assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention).
• Coordinate referrals, intake, admissions, and service placement for residents.
