Job summary

TPEG, Inc. is seeking a Registered SUD Counselor to support clients through assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. The role emphasizes continuity of care, crisis response, and collaboration with the Program Manager to optimize patient outcomes.

The position requires DHCS credential, strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a team while maintaining confidentiality. Monday–Friday schedule with on-call needs may apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED and DHCS credential.
• Minimum 1–3 years of case management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Experience with diverse populations and equity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide client care and clinical services including admissions and care level recommendations.
• Document daily progress notes and treatment planning.
• Coordinate admissions and discharge with Program Manager and families.
• Conduct crisis intervention and family meetings.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and program development.
• Assist with aftercare planning and community referrals.
