Job summary

The Northwestern Community Services Board is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor in Virginia. This role involves managing a caseload of adults with substance use disorders, providing counseling and overseeing the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in relevant human services and a year of experience in the field, along with a valid driver’s license. Competitive hourly compensation between $27.07 and $28.99 is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree earned from an accredited college or university in relevant human services required.
• At least one year of experience working with clients with substance use disorders.
• Registered CSAC supervisee under supervision for CSAC certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of adults diagnosed with substance use disorders.
• Provide substance use counseling and manage the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
• Work with Agency staff and other community resources to meet client needs.

Skills
