Job summary

IsoTalent is seeking a dedicated SUD Counselor to join a behavioral health team in Twin Falls, ID. You will lead both group and individual counseling sessions, guide residents through recovery, and help shape the substance abuse curriculum with a collaborative team.

The role offers full-time and part-time schedules with pay at $30.00/hour, plus weekly bonuses and an incentive structure for group counseling, along with health, life, and vision insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Counseling experience with criminal justice populations or Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification preferred.
• Ability to interact professionally in both individual and group counseling settings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Bilingual English/Spanish may be required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and individual counseling sessions.
• Develop substance abuse curriculum and educational presentations.
• Provide class materials and select instructional resources for the program.
• Stay current on developments in the substance abuse field.
• Maintain collegial relationships with other professionals and programs.
• Complete testing, assessments, and psychosocial histories for residents.
• Participate in ongoing substance abuse-related training.
