Job summary

Downtown Emergency Services Center seeks a Clinical Support / SUD Specialist to collaborate with DESC staff and external providers in delivering behavioral health and housing-related services to residents.

The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, coordinating case management, and monitoring progress while documenting services and outcomes. Requires AAC license or ability to obtain, plus experience with homeless adults and dual diagnoses.

Qualifications

• AAC license for Washington State (or ability to obtain soon after hire).
• Clinical experience with homeless adults with dual diagnosis or SUD.
• Knowledge of local homeless, mental health, and chemical dependency services.
• Ability to communicate with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop Resident Services Plan (RSP) with residents and external providers.
• Coordinate case management with external providers and perform direct services.
• Monitor progress on RSP goals and ensure services are delivered.
• Maintain progress notes in RSP files and log significant events.
• Identify potential tenants and assist with housing placement.
