Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a SUD Assessment and Evaluation Clinician to perform Substance Use Disorder evaluations and advise on appropriate treatment and referrals. The role is onsite across two Denver locations, with data entry into the ICM system and collaboration with DDHS and Signal.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a related field, one year in SUD settings with MAT, and Colorado CAS/LPC-C/SW-C/LAC-C/MFT-C candidacy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, social work, or a directly related field.
• One year of professional level experience in a substance use disorder treatment clinic/facility, including medication-assisted treatment.
• Must possess valid Colorado DORA registration/licensure candidacy (CAS, LPC-C, SW-C, LAC-C, MFT-C).
• Combination of education and related experience may substitute for Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Substance Use Disorder assessments and enter data into the ICM system.
• Communicate among ARTS, DDHS, and Signal with professionalism and expertise.
• Attend ARTS team/staff meetings, trainings, and events as directed by supervisor.
• Apply DSM-5 and ASAM placement criteria to diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
• Work with DDHS as part of an intervention team serving individuals involved with social services, family court, or criminal justice systems.
• Provide SUD training and consultation for DDHS staff and other external stakeholders.
• Provide referrals to patients for necessary resources.
